Still Water
By W.B. Yeats

We can make our minds so like still water that beings gather about us, that they may see, it may be, their own images, and so live for a moment with a clearer, perhaps even with a fiercer life because of our quiet.

From “The King of the Great Clock Tower”
by W. B. Yeats

God guard me from the thoughts men think
In the mind alone.
He that sings a lasting song
Thinks in the marrow bone.

God guard me from the thoughts men think
In the mind alone.
He that sings a lasting song
Thinks in the marrow bone.
